Q) I'm getting an "Access Denied" error message when I try to go to the My Courses tab, my Personal Announcements tab or another location on LionsLink. How can I fix this?

A) This error message is caused by Norton Internet Security blocking some information being passed to LionsLink. To fix this:

  1. Double click on your Norton icon on the lower-right hand corner of your taskbar.
  2. Click on Options then on Internet Security Professional.
  3. Click on the Web Content tab.
  4. At the bottom of the screen click on the Add Site button.
    1. Type in the address lionslink.uafortsmith.edu
    2. Click Ok
  5. Make sure that lionslink.uafortsmith.edu is highlighted on the list of sites on the left of the screen.
  6. Under Information about visited sites uncheck the Use default settings box.
  7. Under Information about visited sites check the Permit box.
  8. Hit the Ok button.
  9. Go back to LionsLink and try accessing your My Courses area.
