Outlook Web Access Instructions

1. Open https://mail.uafortsmith.edu/owa in a web browser. This will bring you to the Outlook Web Access log-in page:
NOTE: You will also get this page if you click on the EMPLOYEE link for the old LionsLink email.
2. Choose either This is a public or shared computer or This is a private computer as appropriate, and enter your UA Fort Smith user ID and password. Click Log On. You will be brought to the Outlook Web Access main view.
3. Make sure that the Time Zone is set to Central, and click on OK.
4. This is the screen that you will see for your Outlook Web Access mailbox.
How to Send Email Messages
1. Click on the NEW button
2. Enter the email address of the person that you want to send to or click on the TO: button for the address book to come up.
3. If the user is on the UA Fort Smith Exchange 2007 email system, you can enter the first couple of letters of their first name to find them in the address book. Double click the name when it appears and verify that it appears in the TO box at the bottom. Click on OK.
4. Enter the SUBJECT and text in the body of the message and click on SEND.
How to Log Off of Outlook Web Access
1. Click on the LOGOFF button
2. Click on CLOSE WINDOW
3. Click on YES
