Staff instructions for using LionsLink

How to log in and use LionsLink

Follow the instructions below:
  1. Launch your computer's Internet browser. At the netsite, address, or location line, enter the URL for the UA Fort Smith Web Site. http://www.uafortsmith.edu

  2. Click on LionsLink. You will see the LionsLink Login page.

    1. You may wish to bookmark this page so in the future you can go to LionsLink Login page directly by clicking the LionsLink in your bookmark or favorites list.

      • For Netscape Navigator, click the Bookmarks icon on the Location Toolbar, and then select the Add Bookmark option.
      • For Internet Explorer, select the Favorites menu, and click the Add to Favorites option.

  3. Locate the Secured Access Login section of the page (top left) and enter your Login Name and Password and click OK.

Notice that your name appears in the top left corner of the page. When you use the LionsLink platform, this page is customized for you.

How to use email

To use LionsLink Mail you must have a LionsLink login name and password.
  1. Click the e-mail icon on the main LionsLink navigation bar. A separate window opens for the LionsLink E-mail Center.
  2. At the top are icons that allow you to get mail, compose messages, move messages to designated folders and delete messages from specified folders.
  3. At the left of the screen is a list of folders including an Inbox for new mail, a Drafts box for unsent messages, Sent box for copies of messages sent, and a Deleted box for copies of messages which have been deleted from any folder. The folders bar allows you to organize your messages by creating, editing, and deleting folders and subfolders.
  4. Once you select a message from the Inbox, the message appears in the frame to the lower right. The frame also displays icons which let you reply, reply to all, forward, or print the message.
  5. The Address Book tab allows you to create and manage lists of contacts.
  6. The Options tab allows you to configure options for your account such as adding external e-mail accounts, or creating signature files. Online assistance for using these features is available through the Help link.

How to see personal pay, benefit and deduction information

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on the Administrative Tools tab. This section gives you access to administrative services.
  2. To see your personal information click on the Personal Information link.
    or
    To see your Personal Benefits and Deductions click on the Employee Services link.
